Beautiful sunrise over Hpa-An
One thing about travelling is that your body clock gets a bit messed up. On this particular day I was wide awake very early which turned out to be a good thing as the sunrise was so very beautiful. I first noticed it through the toilet window (image below) which although a rough hole in the wall with some mesh over it turned out to be a fantastic frame for this gorgeous moment.
I then went on a wander to find other windows to see more of the view and noticed the early morning mist hanging heavily over the town in places which had a gorgeous yellow glow from the morning sun. The mountains were bursting through the soft yellow haze and the contrasting pale greys were absolutely stunning. I’m not sure this photograph lives up to my memories but it gives you an idea. A good start to another busy day.
