I am constantly scribbling something in a sketchbook.  So here are a few drawings from my first sketchbook of this trip.

Just over a week ago I was in Bournemouth catching up with lots of different friends but managed one day entirely to myself which turned out to be a proper treat. I spent a good chunk of it on the beach swimming and soaking up the sun.

This week that warmth feels a world away and like autumn has firmly taken its grip. So in an attempt to catch a little bit of the memory of beaches and sunnier days here’s a few drawings from that lovely day.

Drawing takes me to my happy place. It is a very personal way to document a journey, experience or encounter. My marks are unique to me and hopefully convey something which adds another dimension to my stories. I usually travel with at least a sketchbook
