About me

About me

My name is Sarah and I am from Yorkshire in the UK. I am an artist www.sarahgracedye.com educator and curator who loves to explore and discover new places, people and food. I love to cook and am constantly working my way into peoples kitchens to learn about food and collect recipes, ideas and tips which I hope to share with you. I was diagnosed with coeliacs disease in the summer of 2016 (which has changed my life!) so all my recipes are gluten free. I am also a champion of simple affordable food that is good for you. At home I rarely use a recipe (although I love to read recipe books and have many) for me it is all about using everything in the cupboards and not wasting anything. My food is heavily influenced by my travels and serves as regular memories of amazing people and places I have encountered on my journey.

Stanage Edge is one of my happy places, I have been coming here since the age of one when my dad would carry me on his back all the way to the top. I am pleased to say I don’t need carrying now, I can manage it under my own steam!
